Two scale-up formats cover the full spectrum of sample types. High efficiency systems separate complex samples using small particle sorbents (5-10 μm) to deliver milligram to gram quantities of pure product (Scale-Up 1). High-throughput systems use larger particle sorbents (10-25 μm) with column overload strategies to deliver gram to multi-kilogram quantities of pure product in more economical platforms (Scale-Up 2).
